About Pat Van Es

When Pat Van Es opened Muse Fashions in March 2013, it was the realization of a dream. Her growing clientele wanted and needed a shop closer to home. A shop that was committed to helping them look their very best.

Pat graduated from Sheridan College’s Fashion Design program along with Canadian fashion icons Linda Lundstrom and Wayne Clark. Armed with this background together with thirty-some years experience in the fashion industry, Pat opened her stores. Why should my friends and neighbours have to travel out of town to find fashions that make them feel good? Women can look fashionable at any age and we’re here to help them look their best!”

Pat knew being an owner and manager would entail long hours and hard work but this didn’t discourage her from following her heart.

Pat and her husband Tony are involved with Opportunity International Canada which provides micro-loans to entrepreneurs in the developing world. She’s travelled to Colombia and Peru where she has personally seen the difference a business loan of $50 or $100 can make to a family’s quality of life.

In 2012, Pat and her husband Tony were among only 60,000 Canadians who were awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for their contributions to the community and for being positive ambassadors for Canada.

With her love of fashion, her joy in meeting people and her commitment to working with the community, Pat is in the ideal place.
